JIM BUUS

Owner

Jim is a Fargo, ND native and graduate of North Dakota State University. He has enjoyed an over 30- year career in a variety of community development and commercial real estate ventures. He was affiliated with Fargo based GOLDMARK Commercial, the largest commercial brokerage firm in the region, for 23 years concluding his tenure there having served as President and Managing Broker. In late 2019 he started JBC Commercial Real Estate and shortly after, ABT Property Management. In his free time, Jim and his wife Cheri enjoy spending time with friends and family at their lake home, traveling and NDSU athletics. In addition to involvement in a variety of business and community ventures, he currently serves as Chair of the Board of Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation and is actively involved with the 701 Investment Funds and NDSU College of Business. He has served on various boards and volunteer assignments including the NDSU Research & Technology Park and the City of Fargo Economic Development Incentive Committee. 

Brent Kuehne

Owner/Managing Partner

Brent Kuehne is a Detroit Lakes, MN native and graduate of Concordia College, where he played hockey. Brent, his wife Bobbi, and children reside in West Fargo. He has enjoyed an over 20-year career in real estate having started out working on residential sales and small-scale investment properties. Brent started his commercial real estate career in 2004, quickly becoming a top producer. He founded ABT Property Management with Jim Buus and acts as its Managing Partner. In his free time, Brent enjoys spending time with his family and friends at his lake home and being involved with a variety of youth hockey activities.

Julie Fraser

Director of Business Operations and Commercial Property Manager

Julie Fraser is our Director of Business Operations and Commercial Property Manager, for locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. She leads the team to ensure everything is running smoothly. She has over 28 years of experience in business management. She enjoys the social interactions with co-workers, tenants, vendors, owners, and others that property management includes. Julie and her husband Chad, live in Detroit Lakes, MN. They have three married sons and Two granddaughter. In her free time, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends on the water, riding side by side and motorcycle, UND hockey and her dog, Millie.

Megan Baranko

Accounting Specialist

Megan Baranko, our Accounting Specialist, joined us in 2021. She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with degrees in English Writing and Spanish. Megan is extremely thorough and a vital part of the ABT team! Megan and her husband have two daughters, ages 11 and 9, and one calico cat named Cloe and a dog named Pumpkin. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, biking, soccer, swimming, and watching movies.

Sue Nysveen

Assistant Commercial Property Manager/Executive Assistant

Sue Nysveen is our Assistant Commercial Property Manager with over 38 years of administrative knowledge. She is exceptional with tenants, vendors, owners, and a true team player! Sue proudly hails from British Columbia, Canada and has enjoyed the past 14 years in North Dakota with her husband Dirk. Sue enjoys traveling, golfing, lake time and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Brittany Hanson

Director of Residential Property Management

Brittany Hanson, our Director of Residential Property Management, has 3 years of property management experience. Currently, Brittany oversees the Detroit Lakes area residential properties ranging from mobile homes to apartment complexes. She provides quality service to build relationships with clients and tenants. More importantly, she strives on maintaining those relationships by communicating effectively. Brittany, her husband Sawyer and son, live in Detroit Lakes with their two Golden Retrievers, Shaka and Bueller. In their free time, they enjoy spending time outside with their dogs and family on Big Detroit Lake.

Nate hunter

Financial Analyst

Nate Hunter is our Financial Analyst. Nate comes to ABT Property Management with over 22 years’ experience in the banking industry. In addition to providing financial analysis and loan syndication, he also provides support in day-to-day accounting processes and procedures as well as expanding our third-party management relationships.

In his free time, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife, Gretchen and their 5 children on the water in the Detroit Lakes area and attending their kids’ sporting events and activities. He currently serves on the board for the Detroit Lakes Chamber of Commerce, is the President of the Detroit Lakes Youth Hockey Association, and is also a member of the Detroit Lakes Development Authority.

paige krom

 Residential Property Manager

Paige Krom is our Residential Property Manager for Fargo, who joined the team in 2024.

Paige graduated from NDSU in 2022 with a Major in Business Administration and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. She provides 3 years of property management experience and is focused on ensuring all tenants and clients receive excellent customer service. In Paige’s free time, you can find her at the gym, local coffee shop, or doing DIY projects.

BRIANNE RUDOLPH

Commercial Property Manager

Brianne Rudolph, our Commercial Property Manager for the Fargo area, joined the team in 2024. She graduated from MSUM in Moorhead with a degree in Paralegal Studies and minor in Accounting. Providing the best experience for commercial tenants and their guests is her top priority. In her free time, she can be found relaxing with her family, keeping up with her toddler, and drinking coffee.

JEREMY BONIFACE

Commercial Property Manager

Jeremy Boniface is our Director of Commercial Property Management and joined the team in 2024. He is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, with a degree in Communications. Jeremy spent over 13 years in the Automotive/Finance industry and has extensive experience in Property Management. Outside the office, Jeremy, a dynamic, sports-minded individual, is a devoted family man. He shares his passion for sports, particularly hockey, with his wife, Kelsi and their son and daughter. Jeremy's outgoing personality and natural leadership skills, allow him to thrive in all competitive arenas - on the ice and in the business world. He embodies the spirit of teamwork, determination and excellence in all aspects of his life, inspiring those around him to reach their full potential. Jeremy and his family reside in West Fargo.

Macy Hess

Residential Property Manager

Macy Hess is a Residential Property Manager for the Fargo-Moorhead area. She joined ABT Property Management in 2025, with over 6 years of experience in property management. Macy graduated with a degree in Business Management from Lake Region State College. She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree through the University of North Dakota, accentuating her solid foundation in leadership, organization, and problem solving. Macy is passionate about making connections in the community and ensuring properties are well-managed for both the tenants and ownership. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football, attending races, spending time at the lake, and traveling to new places.
